Salesforce’s big event is approaching. On November 6, Dreamforce will begin in San Francisco, encompassing three days of keynote speakers, product demos, training sessions, networking opportunities and a concert.

Each year, Nuvem sends a few team members to gain more product knowledge and network. Here are 5 things we’re most looking forward to in 2017.

1. Learn About New Salesforce Products & Features

Salesforce employees provide new product and feature demos in an area called the Admin Meadow. A multitude of break-out sessions are dedicated to helping people gain comfortability with new products and features like Salesforce Einstein, Lightening and Salesforce Inbox.

2. Take Advantage of Networking Opportunities

The Customer Success Expo is an area lined with booths run by Salesforce consultants and partners. This is also an area to meet other Salesforce users and to share ideas. Outside of the event there are daily happy hours, after parties and corporate-sponsored meals.

We recommend arriving well rested and with a large appetite.

3. Develop Professional Skills

Salesforce offers hands-on training sessions where attendees can build Salesforce skills and earn Trailhead badges. Earning badges can win you free prizes. And, who doesn’t like free prizes?

In addition, breakout sessions are dedicated to each Salesforce product (Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, etc.), covering topics like “(Work)Flows, Processes, Triggers & More…,” “Building the Dream Team: Uniting Sales and Marketing with Salesforce and Pardot,” and “3 Tips to Boost Sales Productivity with Salesforce Inbox.”

4. Inspirational Keynote Speakers

This year, Michelle Obama will address the conference. Other keynote speakers include Ashton Kutcher, Co-founder of Thorn, Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO of Salesforce, Sylvia Acevedo, CEO Girl Scouts of the USA, will.i.am, Founder and CEO of i.am+ and Kasper Rorsted, CEO of Adidas.

5. Participate in the Big Launch

Every year Salesforce keeps two major secrets from Dreamforce attendees: the big product reveal and the headlining band (to be announced soon). In 2016, they debuted Salesforce Einstein, an artificial intelligence product, and the band U2 performed on the main stage.

So far, we haven’t received any clues regarding this year’s two main events. But, judging from the past, we’re anticipating awesomeness.
